Abington Manor is hiring for part time and full time Housekeeping Aides in Clark Summit, PA. Duties include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, with weekly weekend/holiday shifts. Daily pay option is offered along with competitive pay, PTO, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Post-offer background checks and screening are required. On-site role with an emphasis on compassionate, enthusiastic service and cross-training opportunities in Laundry.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED is required.
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as part of a part/full-time shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms and common areas.
• Clean, polish furnishings, fixtures, windows, and bathroom amenities.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and strip/wax floors as instructed.
• Remove dirt, dust and disinfect surfaces; ensure safety signs are in place.
• Turn in all found articles to your supervisor; cross-train in Laundry.

Abington Manor is currently hiring for part time Housekeeping Aides! We are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic candidates to join our exceptional team of caregivers!

Requirements of the Housekeeping Aides:

• A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma.
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.

Responsibilities of the Housekeeping Aides:

• Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.
• Clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating or cooling units, etc., in resident rooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and/or polish bathroom fixtures. Ensure that watermarks are removed from fixtures.
• Clean windows and mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance or exit ways.
• Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp or wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc. (NOTE: Ensure that appropriate caution and safety signs are properly set up prior to performing such duties.)
• Clean carpets, to include vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
• Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing, etc.
• Remove dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning or disinfecting solutions.
• Clean hallways, stairways, and elevators.
• Turn in all found articles to your supervisor.
• Cross train in Laundry.
