Job summary

Northampton Post Acute in Easton, PA is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide for a full-time 7 am–3 pm schedule, with every other weekend required. The role offers $16 per hour and Daily Pay to eligible staff in a supportive, resident-centered environment.

You will perform cleaning duties across resident rooms, common areas, and facilities, follow safety guidelines, maintain supplies, and collaborate with the team to uphold high cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow established safety precautions and manufacturer instructions when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all assigned duties in accordance with established housekeeping standards, safety guidelines, and infection control practices.
• Clean assigned areas, including resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, nursing stations, handrails, dining rooms, shower rooms, public restrooms, and offices.
• Maintain utility and storage rooms in a clean, organized, and orderly condition.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment, furnishings, and supplies according to established procedures.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces as assigned.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste materials to designated disposal areas.
• Maintain housekeeping carts in a clean, organized manner, stocking necessary supplies at the end of each shift, and ensuring that chemicals not in use remain securely stored.
• Follow all established safety precautions and manufacturer guidelines when handling and using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply needs to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas of the facility maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance.
