Job summary

Cedar Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a reliable Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.

Hours are 7am-3pm with weekend requirement; on-site position at our Cedartown, GA facility. You will follow cleaning protocols, sanitize resident rooms, and report any maintenance needs. Prior healthcare housekeeping experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize the facility on a daily basis.
• Perform daily routine cleaning of resident rooms.
• Perform monthly carpet cleaning of residents' rooms.
• Follow all safety procedures, infection control policies, and universal precautions.
• Stock housekeeping carts and closets as needed.
• Report to work in the assigned uniform as required by the facility.
• Report problems, concerns and maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a courteous, professional, and appropriate demeanor at all times.

Cedar Valley Nursing and Rehab is Looking for excellent and hard working Housekeeping Aides to work for our facility!

Available Hours: 7am-3pm with weekend requirement

Responsibilities:

1. The housekeeper is the focal point of our environmental service staff. He/she is responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of the facility on a daily basis.
2. Must be able to perform the necessary duties in the daily routine cleaning of resident rooms
3. Must be able to perform the necessary duties for the monly carbolization cleaning of residents rooms
4. Follow all safet procedures, infection control policies, and universal precautions to ensure the health and welfar of residents, staff and visitors
5. Follow propper procedures for stocking housekeeping carts and closets
6. All housekeepers must report to work in assigned uniform as deemed by the facility
7. All housekeepers must report problems, concerns and maintenance issues to the supervisor
8. All housekeepers must act in a courteous, professional, and apporpriate manner at all times
