Job summary

White Lodging is seeking aHousekeeper for the Westin Austin Downtown to deliver exceptional guest service and maintain spotless public and guest areas. You will support daily hotel operations and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for guests throughout shifts.

The role emphasizes initiative, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment, with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience and desire to give guests the best service and experience
• Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated
• Ability to exercise good judgement and critical thinking
• Certification sign-off after completing training
• Ability to lift/carry up to 10 lbs regularly and 25 lbs occasionally; stand/move for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of service to the guest and anticipate and exceed guest expectations
• Clean and restock linen closets, linen and storage rooms with linen and supplies
• Restock housekeeping carts with clean, sanitized glasses and cups
• Vacuum and/or mop hallways and stairwells
• Clean offices, Front Office areas, and associate break room
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Do

• A housekeeper will provide the highest quality of service to the guest and anticipate and exceed guest expectations
• Clean and restock linen closets, linen and storage rooms with linen and supplies
• Restock housekeeping carts with clean, sanitized glasses and cups
• Vacuum and/or mop hallways and stairwells
• Cleaning of offices, Front Office areas, and associate break room
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• The Housekeeper will have experience and desire to give guests the best service and experience
• Desire to take initiative and self-motivate
• Ability to use good judgement and critical thinking skills
• A certification sign off after completing training
• The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move up to 10 lbs. regularly and 25 lbs. occasionally. As well as the ability to move and stand for extended periods of time
