Job summary

North Auburn Care in Auburn, WA is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to maintain clean, safe, and sanitary environments for residents and staff. The role supports infection control protocols and ensures supplies are available in resident rooms and common areas.

The position requires prior housekeeping experience and the ability to understand and speak English, with a starting pay of $19.25 per hour, DOE, at our North Auburn Care facility.

Qualifications

• Must understand and speak English.
• Previous experience as a housekeeper is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents and staff (dusting, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting).
• Adhere to infection control protocols to prevent illness spread.
• Ensure adequate cleaning supplies and toiletries in rooms and bathrooms.
• Properly dispose of trash and soiled linens per procedures.
• Follow a daily/weekly/monthly cleaning schedule and complete tasks as assigned.
• Interact with residents, families, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect residents' personal belongings and space.

Must have:

• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents and staff - dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and hallways
• Play a crucial role in infection control, adhering to specific protocols to prevent the spread of illness
• Ensure adequate levels of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other essential items in resident rooms and bathrooms
• Proper disposal of trash and soiled linens, following established procedures
• Follow a daily, weekly, or monthly cleaning schedule and complete tasks as assigned
• Interact with residents, their families, and other staff members in a courteous and professional manner
• Maintain confidentiality and being mindful of residents' personal belongings and space

Qualifications:

• Must be able to understand and speak English
• Previous experience working as a housekeeper required
