Job summary

North Auburn Care is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to join our team in North Auburn, WA. This role focuses on keeping patient and common areas clean, safe, and sanitary, and supports infection control protocols in a caring, home-like environment.

The successful candidate will have prior housekeeping experience, be fluent in English, and work on-site at our Auburn location. North Auburn Care offers a supportive team, competitive hourly pay, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand and speak English.
• Previous experience working as a housekeeper required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents and staff, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Assist with infection control by following specific protocols to prevent the spread of illness.
• Ensure adequate cleaning supplies and toiletries in resident rooms and common areas.
• Dispose of trash and soiled linens following established procedures.
• Follow a daily/weekly/monthly cleaning schedule and complete assigned tasks.
• Interact with residents and families in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect residents' personal belongings and space.

Must have:

• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents and staff - dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and hallways
• Play a crucial role in infection control, adhering to specific protocols to prevent the spread of illness
• Ensure adequate levels of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other essential items in resident rooms and bathrooms
• Proper disposal of trash and soiled linens, following established procedures
• Follow a daily, weekly, or monthly cleaning schedule and complete tasks as assigned
• Interact with residents, their families, and other staff members in a courteous and professional manner
• Maintain confidentiality and being mindful of residents' personal belongings and space
