Responsibilities

  • Clean resident rooms, hallways, lounges, restrooms, offices, and other areas.
  • Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces as scheduled.
  • Change bed linens and make beds as needed.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and soiled linens safely.
  • Replenish soap, towels, toilet paper, and supplies.
  • Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to supervisor.
  • Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Comply with infection control and safety procedures, including PPE usage.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect for residents.
  • Follow daily assignments and cleaning schedules.
  • Attend in-service training as required.
  • Assist with emergency cleaning tasks when needed.

Housekeeping Aide

The Housekeeping Aide plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This position is responsible for daily cleaning and disinfecting of resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and facility offices in accordance with federal, state, and facility standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean resident rooms, hallways, lounges, restrooms, offices, and other assigned areas.
  • Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces as scheduled.
  • Change bed linens and make beds as needed.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and soiled linens in a safe and sanitary manner.
  • Replenish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other supplies.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs to supervisor.
  • Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Comply with infection control and safety procedures, including PPE usage.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect for all residents.
