Job summary

Rock Creek Care Center is hiring a full-time Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The role offers a pay range of $17.00–$21.00 per hour and a schedule of Friday to Thursday.

You will clean common areas and resident rooms, sanitize surfaces, and follow infection-control procedures in a professional healthcare setting. A high school diploma is preferred; healthcare housekeeping experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Healthcare or long-term care housekeeping experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in lobbies, restrooms, and hallways.
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms and bathrooms.
• Sweep, mop, and keep floors spotless.
• Wipe surfaces including handrails, walls, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Empty trash and manage waste disposal.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and handle supplies.
• Follow safety and infection-control procedures.
• Keep carts and storage areas organized and sanitary.
• Report safety concerns promptly.
• Provide friendly, positive customer service to residents and staff.
