Job summary

Pikes Peak Post Acute in Oregon is hiring a dedicated housekeeper to keep resident rooms, hallways, and common areas clean and welcoming. You will dust, mop, sanitize, and manage trash while supporting a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork with nursing and dietary staff, safety, and infection-control best practices. A positive attitude and dependability are essential, with experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

  • A positive attitude and willingness to work hard.
  • Dependability and good attendance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow cleaning and safety instructions.
  • Comfortable being on your feet and performing physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Compassion and respect for older adults.
  • Previous housekeeping or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Keep resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, hallways, and other areas clean and fresh.
  • Dust, mop, sweep, vacuum, sanitize, and take out trash.
  • Restock supplies and keep housekeeping carts organized.
  • Follow proper cleaning and infection-control procedures.
  • Report maintenance, safety, or cleaning concerns.
  • Work together with nursing, laundry, dietary, and other departments.
  • Be friendly and respectful to residents, families, and coworkers.
  • Help make our facility feel like home—not just a workplace!
