Job summary

Vista Senior Living Management is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Housekeeper for our Woods Of Caledonia community in Racine, WI. This in-person role focuses on maintaining clean, safe spaces across resident rooms, common areas, and dining spaces.

Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitation, infection control, and basic maintenance support, with interactions targeting residents and staff. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, ensuring reliable, consistent care environments.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms, and common areas.

• Label and remove waste bags and containers.
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards throughout the facility.
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks and minor repairs as needed.

Position: Full-Time Housekeeping

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM

Essential Functions

Housekeeping Duties

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms, and common areas
• Safely mix and use cleaning solutions and store them properly
• Label and remove infectious waste bags and containers
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards throughout the facility

Basic Maintenance Support

• Assist with minor repairs and upkeep, including:
• Fixing closet doors
• Snaking toilets
• Hanging pictures
• Helping with flood clean-up
• Assembling simple furniture (e.g., items ordered online)

General Responsibilities

• Perform other tasks as assigned
• Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance standards
• Adhere to all federal, state, and professional regulations

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and facility staff.
• Knowledge of infection control techniques.
