Job summary

A leading fitness company in Pocatello, Idaho, is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain a sanitized environment within the gym. Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, mopping areas, ensuring bathroom supplies are stocked, and observing for safety hazards. Ideal candidates can lift at least 40 pounds and can work with minimal supervision. Competitive pay at $8.50 per hour with a bump after 30 days if inspection criteria are met.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, dust, mop and vacuum gym areas.
• Clean and disinfect bathroom areas as needed.
• Maintain supply levels of towels, tissue, soap in bathrooms.
• Empty trash containers in all areas.
• Observe equipment for safety hazards.
• May work after business hours.

Job description

• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and ensure it is sanitized.
• Sweeps, dusts, mops scrubs and vacuums hallways, stairs, office space and other assigned areas of the overall gym.
• Cleans, mops, scrubs, polishes, and disinfects all bathroom areas as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining a sufficient supply of materials (e.g. towels, tissue, soap, etc.) in all bathrooms in assigned areas.
• Empties trash and garbage containers in all assigned areas, as well as the gym overall.
• May be subject to lift at least 40 pounds
• Maintains all floor areas in a safe, clean, and orderly manner.
• Observes equipment for potential safety hazards.
• May be subject to work after business hours.
• Needs to be able to work with little to no supervision

Bump in pay after 30 days if employee passes inspection and testing.

Compensation: $8.50 per hour
