Job summary

HHS is hiring at Kindred Hospital Houston Northwest for a Hospital Housekeeper role. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with Day/Evening/Night shifts. Pay is $13 per hour in a hospital setting that prioritizes a safe, clean, healing environment.

You will perform cleaning of patient rooms, restrooms and common areas, adhering to procedures and maintaining high standards. Applicants must be 18+, fluent in English, and able to work well with others.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• English communication and teamwork are required.
• Must maintain good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and in uniform.
• Healthcare housekeeping experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas and restrooms.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness in designated areas.
• Follow all cleaning procedures and best practices.
• Provide friendly, kind service to all individuals in the hospital.
• Assist team members and management to help the department operate efficiently.

Responsibilities

Hospital Housekeeper

• Wage: $ 13 /hour

• Full-time and part-time positions available

• Day/Evening/Night shifts available

• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required

• Location: Kindred Hospital Houston Northwest

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and more

• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas

• Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices

• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital

• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment

• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform

• Preferred: Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, healthcare)

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift

• Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift

• Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants

• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
