Parkway Care and Rehab in Edwardsville, KS is hiring a Part-time Housekeeper/Floor Tech to join our compassionate team. You will clean resident rooms, restrooms, hallways and common areas, and sometimes strip/wax floors and carpets throughout the facility, ensuring quality and safety for residents.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to work some weekends as assigned.
• Housekeeping experience preferred but not required. A willingness to learn is required.
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors and team members.

Responsibilities

This Housekeeping Staff position earns a competitive salary of up to $15.00 per hour. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOUSEKEEPING STAFF

As a housekeeper, you will be led by a veteran leader, Linda Preuss, who will offer you training, guidance and wisdom to ensure your success in your role. Sometimes you will function as a floor technician, cleaning stripping and waxing floors and carpets throughout the facility. Sometimes you will function as a housekeeper, cleaning the resident rooms, restrooms, hallways and common areas. With a close eye for detail, you ensure quality and deep cleaning for residents' rooms after discharge and prepare rooms for new admissions. Sometimes you will work with Linda on special projects that are completely quarterly.
