Job summary

Cotter House Worthington in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a housekeeping associate to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, staff and guests.

You will report to the Maintenance Director, perform daily duties cleaning the community including resident rooms and all common areas, assist in resident laundry, ensure safety, and help with mealtimes when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate and function in an interdisciplinary team.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, and move frequently; lift 40 lbs.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to assist in evacuation of residents.

• Assist in resident laundry
• Ensure safety of residents in the neighborhood
• Assist with mealtimes when needed

Essential Functions

• Must be able to communicate and function in an interdisciplinary team.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, and move frequently during working hours. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. floor to waist, lift 10 lbs. waist to shoulder, life and carry 40 lbs. and push/pull 40 lbs.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents.

Educational Requirements

• Highschool or equivalent (preferred)

Work Experience

• Experience in housekeeping services is preferred but not required.
