Job summary

Levy, part of Compass Group USA, is seeking a team member to maintain kitchen work areas and equipment in clean, orderly condition. The position pays between $16.00 and $18.00 per hour and operates within a fast-paced venue environment.

Responsibilities include sweeping and mopping floors, operating dishwashers and sanitation equipment, washing prep surfaces, and assisting with banquet setup and loading supplies.

Qualifications

• Maintain kitchen areas and equipment in clean, orderly condition.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards; operate large electric machines.
• Assist with banquet setup and loading/unloading supplies.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors to maintain safety and sanitation.
• Operate large electric machines such as dishwashers and compactors.
• Wash work surfaces, tables, refrigerators, and prep areas.
• Segregate and remove trash; clean garbage cans.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Move supplies between storage and work areas with proper lifting.
• Assist with banquet setup and front-of-house tasks as requested.
• Assist with loading/unloading and delivering supplies.
• Distribute supplies and equipment as needed.
• Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.

Summary:

Perform job duties required to maintain kitchen work areas, kitchen equipment in clean and orderly condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sweeps and mops floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Operates large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surfaces as assigned.
• Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas.
• Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils and other food preparation machines and equipment.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up as requested.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
