What to expect as a Housekeeper:

• Understand hotel operating procedures;
• Be knowledgeable of room types and standards for supplies;
• Check the condition of rooms and notify supervisor of any issues;
• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, replenish supplies, and report room status;
• Dust and clean furnishings, including electronics and fixtures;
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in order;
• Serve guest requests promptly and systematically;
• Be courteous, friendly, and helpful to guests and staff;
• Prepare bedrooms efficiently while respecting hotel procedures;
• Wear uniform and nametag at all times;
• Follow hotel policies and emergency procedures;
• Maintain discretion to avoid disturbing guests;
• Perform laundry and public area cleaning;
• Maintain personal cleanliness;
• Work flexible hours;
• Embrace company Mission, Values, and Vision;
• Perform deep cleaning when assigned;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior hotel housekeeping experience preferred;
• Knowledge of laundry equipment is a plus but not required;
• Physical ability to push, pull, bend, reach, lift up to 40 lbs, and tolerate temperature extremes;
• Prolonged standing and walking are required;
• Work involves interaction with chemicals and cleaning equipment.
