Job summary

Marriott Madison West is seeking friendly, compassionate team players to join our housekeeping department. Clean guest rooms and public areas throughout the hotel, delivering safe, clean, and comfortable spaces for guests to enjoy. This hourly role pays $16 per hour with full-time and part-time shifts from 8 a.m.

to 4 p.m. Qualifications include being at least 18, fluent English, good personal hygiene, and a willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and restrooms.
• Remove soiled linens, towels, and trash.
• Make beds, replenish amenities, and clean surfaces and furniture in guest rooms.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Provide friendly service to guests and support team members as needed.

We're looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our housekeeping team! Clean guest rooms and public areas throughout the Hotel. Provide excellent service and quality to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where guests can relax.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, common areas, restrooms, and more
• Remove soiled linens, towels, and trash from guest rooms
• Make beds, replenish amenities, mop/vaccuum floors, and clean all surfaces and furniture in gues rooms
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas
• Follow all cleaning procedures and best practices
• Provide friendly and kind service to all guests
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
• Preferred: Housekeeping or laundry experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, hotel operations, healthcare)

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
• Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
• Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
