This temporary position is located in Goldsboro - Wayne County.

Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $15.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).

This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services. This position is located at 400 Old Smithfield Rd, Goldsboro, NC 27530.

Description Of Work

This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services. This position is located at 400 Old Smithfield Rd, Goldsboro, NC 27530.

The primary purpose of this position is to work as part of a team of environmental services staff responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all of the buildings that are at the O'Berry NMT Center campus: administrative, medical, outline areas, and residential buildings. The position is responsible for cleaning all common areas; bathrooms, hallways, day rooms, break rooms, offices, work areas, as well as cleaning residential areas such as individual bedrooms, bathrooms, and equipment. Responsible for transferring linen to and from assigned areas and linen rooms. Position must clean the assigned areas according to established rules and regulations ensuring that safety and sanitation regulations are met. The position is required to follow a checklist and meet standards of sanitation as set by Management, ICF/IID, and/or NF regulations and other regulatory agencies.

The working hours of this position are Mon - Fri, 6:30am - 3pm, up to 29 hours per week . Some weekends and holidays: may be required depending on facility needs.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities / Competencies
