Job summary

MasterCorp, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to ensure high cleanliness standards across resort units. The role focuses on timely turnover and adherence to company mission and values.

Responsibilities include cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, removing waste, and reporting maintenance needs. The position offers paid training, immediate hire, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Able to read, write and do basic math.
• Punctual and dependable with good time management.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Willing to work irregular hours.
• Maintain high standard of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Strip units of soiled linens.
• Remove trash from units.
• Clean units including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets and decks.
• Report clean units as vacant and ready for inspection.
• Report unit maintenance issues per company procedure.
• Report damaged, dirty or stained carpets, drapes, furniture and linens.
• Report missing inventory and supplies to Supervisor.
• Perform weekly guest services cleans as directed.
• Attend training sessions and apply training.
• Ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in solving guest complaints promptly.
• Maintain a sense of urgency so units are turned on time.

Position Overview

Responsible for consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards in the cleaning of resort property units. A Housekeeper must ensure he/she follows the company mission statement and values.

Essential Functions

Experience and Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping preferred, but not required
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds (with or without accommodation)
• Ability to make decisions
• Planning and scheduling capabilities
• Ability to read, write and do basic math
• Personal timeliness be prompt with all assignments
• A passion for cleanliness

Work Environment

This job operates in conditions that will include odors/dust, cleaning chemicals, and/or laundry chemicals. The Housekeeper is not limited to the above-mentioned job description and may be requested to do additional tasks as directed by MasterCorp Management.

Physical Requirements

This position frequently requires standing, walking, pushing, pulling, moving, lifting (up to 25 lbs), bending, reaching, occasional ascending/descending, and repetitive motions. Employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of their job.
