Job summary

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Housekeeper for the Samaritan Inn in North Wilkesboro, NC. The role is part of the Facilities team, with emphasis on maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and safety standards.

Responsibilities include room inspections, guest interactions, and clear communication of status to the Lead Housekeeper. A high school diploma or GED and 3 years of related experience are preferred, with strong communication skills expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain guest rooms and common areas to standards.
• Conduct room inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Greet guests in a warm, friendly manner and assist as needed.
• Communicate room status to the Lead Housekeeper.
• Other duties as assigned by Facilities team.

We are seeking a Housekeeper, Samaritan Inn to join our Facilities team in North Wilkesboro, NC . Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritans Purse are to help people in Jesus name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In the role of Housekeeper , you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
• Clean and refresh guest rooms as well as common areas and public restrooms.
• Conduct room inspections to ensure standards are met
• Greet guest as you see them in a warm friendly manner, assist as needed
• Communicate guest room status to the Lead Housekeeper.
• Other duties as assigned
