Job Overview:

Clean guest rooms according to hotel standards, report maintenance issues, and handle guest requests or complaints. Maintain confidentiality and security of guest rooms.

Reports To:

Director of Housekeeping

Key Relationships:

Internal: Director of Housekeeping, Front Office Manager, Laundry Attendants, Housekeeping staff, Front Desk, Maintenance.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Use appropriate cleaning chemicals following OSHA and hotel standards.
2. Prioritize and clean assigned guest rooms.
3. Transport supplies securely to rooms.
4. Empty trash and recycling bins.
5. Replace and launder linens, clean bathrooms, dust furniture, and ensure room amenities are in place.
6. Inspect and report damages or maintenance needs.
7. Ensure safety and security protocols are followed.
8. Complete training and perform other duties as assigned.
9. Make up cribs and rollaway beds, restock supplies.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include:

1. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
2. Attention to detail, speed, accuracy, courtesy, and teamwork.
3. Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and pushing/pulling carts up to 100 lbs.
4. Reliable attendance and punctuality.
5. 1-2 years hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
6. High School diploma or equivalent.

Physical Abilities:

Ability to reach, bend, lift, and move heavy loads as required.
