Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Thompson Dallas, is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain cleanliness and presentation of assigned guest rooms while upholding luxury hospitality standards and inspecting rooms before guest arrival.

You will clean and service rooms, make beds, replace linens, replenish amenities, sanitize bathrooms and surfaces, vacuum and remove trash, and report maintenance or guest requests promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent time management and guest service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms according to Hyatt and Thompson standards.
• Make beds, replace linens, and replenish guest amenities.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and remove trash as needed.
• Inspect completed rooms to ensure cleanliness and brand standards.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and guest requests promptly.
• Maintain an organized, well‑stocked housekeeping cart and storage areas.
• Support cleanliness of public areas and assist with special projects.
• Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operations and guest experience.

Position Summary

Physical Requirements

This position is physically active and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift. Candidates must be able to push and maneuver housekeeping carts, perform repetitive cleaning tasks, and regularly lift and carry up to 30 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
