Job summary

Encore Village of Schaumburg is seeking a dedicated pool housekeeper to maintain clean and sanitary facilities for residents and guests. Under the housekeeping leadership, you will perform duties per established policies to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, cleaning various surfaces, restrooms, pool areas, and managing supplies. Previous hotel or healthcare experience is preferred, and a high school diploma is commonly expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, dust mops, sweeper extractors, scrubbers.
• Clean carpets, tile, wood flooring.
• Maintain facility in a sanitary condition; wash, clean, replenish supplies.
• Work in residential and common areas including restrooms, pool, and recreation spaces.
• Dispose of trash and handle cleaning chemicals per OSHA/EPA guidelines.
• Follow MSDS and labels; comply with OSHA bloodborne pathogens procedures when required.
• Maintain daily and project schedules and notify manager of changes.
• Perform window cleaning and assist with supplies management.
• Be flexible with hours and rotate weekends or shifts.

Encore Village of Schaumburg is currently hiring for pool housekeepers. The Housekeeper will provide clean, sanitary, orderly and satisfying surroundings for the residents, associates and guests. Under the leadership of the Housekeeping Manager, the housekeeper will perform housekeeping services according to established policies and procedures to maintain great levels of cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, dust mops, sweeper extractors, scrubbers.
• Clean carpets, tile, wood flooring.
• Maintain facility in a sanitary and infection free condition washing, cleaning, replenishing and replacing supplies.
• Required to work in residential and common areas as well as public restrooms, pool and other recreational areas.
• Responsible for disposal of trash.
• Must handle various cleaning chemicals and comply with regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and State Health Department. Read and understand MSDS and labels.
• May be required to perform tasks which involve exposure to visible blood or body fluids and must follow required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing of material in accordance with OSHA blood borne Pathogens standards.
• Maintain daily and project schedules and notify manager of any changes.
• Perform window cleaning.
• Assist in maintaining needed levels of supplies and chemicals and notify manager when needed.
• Must be flexible with hours and rotate weekends or shifts.
