Job summary

Avera St Mary's Hospital in Pierre, SD is seeking a Part-time Environmental Services Associate for the Evening Shift (4pm-12:30am). You will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across patient rooms, lounges, hallways, and common areas.

The role requires ability to work the specified hours, basic high school education, and 1-3 months related experience. A sign-on bonus of up to $1000 may be available.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area. These areas may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.
• Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned. These may include, but not be limited to: dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash.
• Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
• Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies.
• Maintain good customer relations at all times.
• May sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens.

Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

• High School or GED Equivalent
