Responsibilities

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a 126-bed, inpatient psychiatric hospital and start-up joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services.

In addition to a general adult unit and dedicated adolescent unit, the facility offers services for treating those with co-occurring disorders on the psychiatric-medical unit, an intensive adult unit to care for those with severe conditions, as well as a women’s trauma unit.

Housekeepers are responsible for completing the following duties and tasks:

1. Maintains assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, orderly and attractive condition.
2. Provides a suitable environment for the care of patients and staff in accordance with established policies and procedures and in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lancaster Behavioral Health.

Qualifications

What Does LBHH Require for this Role?

1. High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
2. Prior housekeeping experience in a hospital, health care or hospitality setting.
3. Knowledge of equipment usage including vacuum cleaner, washer, cleaning products, safety, and infection control policies.
