Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a seasonal Housekeeper in Big Lake, TX to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for patients, residents, staff and visitors in hospital and long-term care settings. You will clean patient/resident rooms, offices, and common areas following infection control and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include dusting, vacuuming, linen changes, supply refilling, and inventorying supplies while maintaining organized work areas.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or healthcare cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Cleans room as assigned, including dusting, polishing, vacuuming, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, etc.
• Cleans, details, and refills supplies for all assigned areas of the facility as needed, including common areas, offices, etc.
• Maintains clean, organized work areas and securely stores equipment and supplies
• Relates to residents in a courteous, understanding, and cooperative manner
• Cleans office areas and other common areas according to a regular schedule or as requested by the supervisor or other as designated
• Ensures all housekeeping supplies and equipment are labeled and stored appropriately
• Inventories housekeeping supplies on a regular basis and submits orders to supervisor for needed products
• May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and/or night shifts if needed.

Job Details: Job Location: Big Lake, TX 76932, Position Type: Seasonal, Salary Range: $14.00 - $15.00 Hourly, The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and comfortable environment for patients, residents, staff, and visitors in hospital and long-term care facility. This role involves cleaning patient and resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other facility spaces while following infection control and safety procedures.

Essential Duties and Repsonsibilities:

• Cleans room as assigned, including dusting, polishing, vacuuming, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, etc.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Previous housekeeping, custodial, or healthcare cleaning experience preferred but not required.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIREMENT: Ability to read, write, and follow verbal instructions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

Visual and auditory acuity are necessary. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and be able to physically lift, push and pull a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
