Reagan Hospital District is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and comfortable environment for patients, residents, staff and visitors. You will clean patient rooms, common areas, offices and other spaces while following infection control and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning duties, stocking and organizing supplies, and maintaining tidy work areas. The role may involve lifting up to fifty pounds and working varied shifts as needed.

Qualificações

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in healthcare cleaning preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write and follow verbal instructions.

• Cleans office areas and other common areas according to a regular schedule or as designated
• Ensures all housekeeping supplies and equipment are labeled and stored appropriately
• Inventories housekeeping supplies on a regular basis and submits orders to supervisor for needed products.

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and comfortable environment for patients, residents, staff, and visitors in hospital and long-term care facility. This role involves cleaning patient and resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other facility spaces while following infection control and safety procedures.

Essential Duties and Repsonsibilities:

• - Cleans room as assigned, including dusting, polishing, vacuuming, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, etc.
• - Cleans, details, and refills supplies for all assigned areas of the facility as needed, including common areas, offices, etc.
• - Maintains clean, organized work areas and securely stores equipment and supplies
• - Relates to residents in a courteous, understanding, and cooperative manner
• - Cleans office areas and other common areas according to a regular schedule or as requested by the supervisor or other as designated
• - Ensures all housekeeping supplies and equipment are labeled and stored appropriately
• - Inventories housekeeping supplies on a regular basis and submits orders to supervisor for needed products

May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and/or night shifts if needed.

Qualifications

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: None required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Previous housekeeping, custodial, or healthcare cleaning experience preferred but not required.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIREMENT: Ability to read, write, and follow verbal instructions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Visual and auditory acuity are necessary. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and be able to physically lift, push and pull a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
