Job summary

Ghent Assisted Living is hiring a Housekeeper for our skilled nursing facility in Ghent, NY. The role offers Full-time, Part-time, and Per-Diem arrangements with premium compensation and a robust benefits package.

Pay rate is $16.75 per hour, with weekly pay and direct deposit. Schedule is Monday to Friday, in-person work location. Minimum education is a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work cooperatively as a team.
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work cooperatively as a team.
• Keeps confidential all patient/employee information received.
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas.
• Removal of trash & soiled linens.
• Always keeping the resident environment clean.
• Assist with laundry when needed.
• Reports equipment/cleaning product needs and or malfunctions to supervisor.
• Follow proper reporting, isolation and handwashing procedures/techniques.
• Keep all housekeeping equipment, storage areas, janitor closets, and housekeeping carts clean and uncluttered, and free of any hazardous equipment and supplies.
• Report all accidents/ incidents to the Supervisor on the day of occurrence.
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all time.
