Universal Health Services is hiring a Floor Care Technician for our new rehab hospital in Northwest Reno. This per diem role focuses on cleaning and maintaining all floor surfaces, with routine preventive maintenance on floor equipment and participation in CQI activities.
Responsibilities include executing floor care tasks professionally, ensuring safety and equipment operation, and supporting environmental services standards in a hospital setting.
Northwest Specialty Hospital, an extension of Northern Nevada Medical Center, brings expanded services to a new building located at 6225 Sharlands Ave. in Northwest Reno. The facility will offer acute rehabilitation and adult behavioral health services.
Our acute rehabilitation services include occupational, speech, and physical therapy for adults recovering from stroke, injury, or another disabling condition. We offer advanced treatment for a wide range of conditions including stroke, brain injury, amputation, neurological disorders, major multiple traumas and spinal cord and back injuries. All patients will experience private rooms, have access to a newly renovated therapy gym, and personalized care from our qualified staff.

This Housekeeper opportunity is per diem and offers a convenient schedule. This position is for our New Rehab Hospital located in Northwest Reno. We are looking for a dynamic Floor Care Technician to clean and maintain all carpeted and hard surfaces in the facility. Performs preventive maintenance on special floor equipment. Participates in the department's continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Previous hospital experience preferred but not required.
