Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe and patient-focused spaces across our Sparks, NV campus. This full-time role includes evening shift coverage, comprehensive benefits and opportunities to contribute to performance improvement activities.

You will perform routine cleaning of patient rooms, offices, and clinical areas, follow infection control practices, and handle waste disposal in a sanitary, organized environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
• Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
• Transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area.
• Follows all infection control practices including hand hygiene techniques, standard precautions and isolation precautions.

This Housekeeping opportunity is full time @ 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient flexible evening shift schedule. We are looking for a dynamic Housekeeper to clean all areas of the hospital according to policies and procedures. Participates in performance improvement activities.
