Job summary

Sutton Park Center for Nursing and Rehab in New Rochelle, NY is seeking per diem Housekeepers to join our growing team. You will perform daily housekeeping tasks in accordance with state, federal, health, and facility standards, following directions from the Director of Housekeeping Services to maintain a safe environment.

Qualities include time management, organizational skills, and flexibility to work rotating weekends/holidays/weekdays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Willing to work a schedule of rotating weekends, holidays and some weekdays.
• Managing time effectively and having good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform the day-to day activities of the housekeeping department in accordance with State, Federal, Health and Company standards.
• Must follow instructions by the Director of Housekeeping Services, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a safe manner.
• Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, in rest rooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.
• Discard waste/trash in proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner.
• Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as possible
