Surge Rehab and Nursing is seeking a Part-time Housekeeper to support our facility’s cleanliness and safety standards. Shifts include rotating weekends and some weekdays; per diem scheduling flexibility.

The role focuses on daily cleaning, waste management, and upkeep of restrooms and common areas. A High School Diploma and good time-management skills are required; healthcare experience is preferred, not mandatory.

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks per state, federal, health and company standards.

• Clean/polish furnishings and fixtures in restrooms and common areas daily.
• Discard waste in proper containers and use liners.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules as closely as possible.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS (Including but not limited to):

• Perform the day-to day activities of the housekeeping department in accordance with State, Federal, Health and Company standards.
• Must follow instructions by the Director of Housekeeping Services, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a safe manner.
• Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling unites, in rest rooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.
• Discard waste/trash in proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner.
• Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as possible

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma
• Willing to work a schedule of rotating weekends, holidays and some weekdays.
• Managing time effectively and having good organizational skills.
• Healthcare experience preferred

Job Type: Per diem

Shifts available: M-F 3-11pm, Weekends as needed

Salary: $19.50per hour
