Job summary

The Waters in Minnesota is seeking a part-time Housekeeper for weekend shifts (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM). The role contributes to a clean, safe, and welcoming community for residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning common areas and resident apartments, coordinating with maintenance, submitting work orders, and maintaining laundry spaces with proper chemical storage. Prioritizes hospitality, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Previous experience in a related position preferred but not required
• Possess compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in elderly care
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public
• Ability to be detailed oriented

Responsibilities

• Cleans all common areas according to standards and practices including, but not limited to, restrooms, dining rooms, elevators, hallways, landings, stairs, railings, light fixtures, resident activity areas, and lobby
• Cleans all assigned resident apartments
• Works as a team with maintenance to take accountability for the building; monitor the look, smell, cleanliness, and maintenance of all spaces
• Submits maintenance work orders to the Environmental Services team as needed
• Notifies Environmental Services Manager when supplies are diminishing
• Maintains a clean, orderly laundry room and stores chemicals in accordance with product or supervisor instruction
• Other duties as assigned
