Job summary

The Waters Senior Living Management LLC in Minneapolis is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant/Resident Assistant to provide personal care and support to our residents in a warm, friendly community.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, dining, and daily homemaking tasks, document changes, and work closely with a team to enhance quality of life. Growth programs and benefits help you advance while you contribute to outstanding resident care.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English.
• Experience in nursing/resident assistant care (senior services) is preferred.
• Compassion for hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated.
• Assist residents in dining
• Provides homemaking tasks
• Responds to and reports changes in resident's health status and/or any recommendations for changes that should be made to the resident plan of care
• Completes thorough daily charting
• Works well with a team to provide a caring environment
• Block schedules - you'll know what to expect!
• Work is performed in lovely community

• Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to be flexible with hours'/shift schedules and assignments
