Housekeeper (Part-Time) - The Legacy of Lexington

The Legacy of Lexington is seeking a part-time housekeeper to maintain a first-class community environment within a high-quality Assisted Living facility. The role involves creating a clean and orderly environment for residents and their families, which is vital to our reputation.

This position offers 8 hours per week, every other weekend, and is perfect for those looking to join a dynamic team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public, and support areas, meeting or exceeding quality standards.
  • Manage community laundry by collecting, cleaning, and redistributing.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure OSHA compliance and promote safety and risk management policies.
  • Follow safety procedures consistently, including PPE, fire safety, MSDS, and Lockout Tagout protocols.
Requirements
  • Preferred experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as irons, washers & dryers, brooms, mops, and vacuums.
  • Work independently with high performance standards.
  • Handle routine situations with minimal variables.
  • Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment, requiring basic math skills.
  • Maintain speed without sacrificing quality.
  • Basic English reading and communication skills.
