Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas as assigned, meeting or exceeding company quality standards.
• Collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry.
• Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promote risk management programs and policies; adhere to safety rules and regulations.
• Practice safety procedures at all times, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets), and Lockout Tagout procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper preferred.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as irons, washers & dryers, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Able to handle standardized situations with minimal variables.
• Ability to follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment, which may require basic math conversions.
• Work efficiently without compromising quality.
• Basic knowledge of, and ability to communicate in, English.
