Housekeeper Part Time

Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 12pm - 5pm

Summary:

• Cleans and services facility building areas, moves furniture, equipment, and supplies around the facility. Performs a variety of Environmental Services duties to maintain the facility in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Responsibilities:

• Performs all cleaning, floor care, and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor.
• Utilizes cleaning chemicals properly and safely in accordance with department guidelines.
• Performs related services, such as bed moves, changing mattresses, stocking supplies, etc.
• Maintains high standards, works steadily at an efficient pace, and achieves high QA scores.
• Exercises good judgment while working around patients and visitors.
• Interacts hospitably, cheerfully, and supportively with staff, patients, visitors, and work colleagues.
• Maintains equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean, orderly, and good operating condition. Respects hospital and company property.
• Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, spills, and special needs.
• Accepts suggestions and directions from supervisors and hospital staff.
• Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, preservation of equipment, and safe working practices.
• Takes initiative in rendering service or responding to needs.
• Assists other associates as necessary.

Credentials:

Education or Equivalent Experience:

• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
• Equivalent Experience: 1+ years of environmental or related experience in a hospital or college environment
