Housekeeper Part Time

Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 12pm - 5pm

Summary

• Cleans and services facility building areas, moves furniture, equipment, and supplies around the facility. Performs a variety of Environmental Services duties to maintain the facility in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Responsibilities

• Performs all cleaning, floor care, and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor.
• Utilizes cleaning chemicals properly and safely in accordance with department guidelines.
• Performs related services, such as bed moves, changing mattresses, stocking supplies, etc.
• Maintains high standards and works steadily at an efficient pace.
• Achieves high QA scores and exercises good judgment around patients and visitors.
• Interacts hospitably, cheerfully, and supportively with staff, patients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Maintains equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean, orderly, and good operating condition.
• Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, spills, and special needs.
• Accepts suggestions and directions from supervisors and hospital staff.
• Strives to maintain a safe working environment and takes initiative in rendering services or responding to needs.
• Assists other associates as necessary.

Credentials

Education or Equivalent Experience:

• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
• 1+ years of environmental or related experience in a hospital or college environment.
