Position Purpose and Summary
The Housekeeper position must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests. The position is responsible for cleaning guest rooms in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.

Major / Key Job Duties

• Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates.
• Cleans assigned guest rooms following company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards during use.
• Stocks carts and cart rooms as needed or directed by management.
• Reports maintenance issues directly to the front desk or manager on duty.
• Reports any remaining guest property in check-out rooms to the front desk or manager on duty.
• Assists with guest requests whenever possible, providing reasonable accommodations.
• Follows all safety and security policies and procedures.
• Completes all required and annual Extended Stay University training.

Other Duties

• Assists in cleaning other hotel areas as assigned, including but not limited to, breakrooms, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
• Responsible for overall hotel cleanliness.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
