Position Purpose And Summary

The Housekeeper position demonstrates a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests. The role involves cleaning guest rooms in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.

Major / Key Job Duties

• Provide excellent guest service by maintaining cleanliness and organization of guest rooms.
• Clean assigned guest rooms following company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards.
• Stock carts and cart rooms as needed and directed by management.
• Report maintenance issues and guest property concerns to the front desk or manager on duty.
• Assist guests with requests and provide reasonable accommodations whenever possible.
• Follow all safety and security policies and procedures.
• Complete all required and annual training as specified by Extended Stay University.

Other Duties

• Assist with cleaning other hotel areas such as the breakroom, laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
• Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Pay ranges vary by state, for example:

• Colorado: $16.00 - $19.00
• Illinois: $16.00 - $19.00

• Washington: $16.66 - $21.10
• Whitestone, NY: $18.27 - $19.62
