Position Purpose And Summary
The Housekeeper position demonstrates a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests. The role involves cleaning guest rooms following company guidelines and procedures.

Major / Key Job Duties

1. Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and associates.
2. Cleans assigned guest rooms adhering to company standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards.
4. Stocks carts and cart rooms as needed or directed by management.
5. Reports maintenance issues and guest property concerns to the front desk or manager on duty.
6. Assists guests and accommodates their requests whenever possible.
7. Follows all safety and security policies and procedures.
8. Completes all required training, including annual Extended Stay University courses.

Other Duties

1. Assists with cleaning other hotel areas as assigned, such as breakrooms, laundry, fitness rooms, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
2. Maintains overall hotel cleanliness.
3. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Compensation

Pay ranges vary by location and are as follows:

• Colorado, Washington, California: $12.56 - $22.95
• New York City (Whitestone): $32.96

Note: Compensation depends on role, experience, and location. The company complies with all wage laws.

Environmental Job Requirements

• Ability to remain stationary, navigate the hotel, handle objects, reach, and detect scents and sounds.

• Work in various environmental conditions, including weather, humidity, and exposure to chemicals.
• Work in environments with noise, fumes, and potential hazards.
• Travel within a reasonable geographic area as needed.
