Position Purpose and Summary

The Housekeeper position demonstrates a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.

Major / Key Job Duties

• Provide excellent guest service by maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and public areas.
• Clean assigned guest rooms adhering to company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards.
• Stock carts and cart rooms as needed or directed by management.
• Report maintenance issues and guest property concerns to the front desk or manager on duty.
• Assist guests with requests and provide accommodations when possible.
• Follow all safety and security policies and procedures.
• Complete all required training, including annual Extended Stay University courses.

Other Duties

• Assist with cleaning other hotel areas such as the breakroom, laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
• Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
