Position Purpose and Summary

The Housekeeper position demonstrates a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests. The role involves cleaning guest rooms in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.

Major / Key Job Duties

1. Demonstrate and promote a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and associates.
2. Clean assigned guest rooms following company standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards during use.
4. Stock carts and cart rooms as necessary or directed by management.
5. Report all maintenance issues directly to the front desk or manager on duty.
6. Report any remaining guest property in check-out rooms to the front desk or manager on duty.
7. Assist with guest requests whenever possible and practical.
8. Follow all safety and security policies and procedures.
9. Complete all required and annual Extended Stay University training.

Other Duties

1. Assist with cleaning other hotel areas as assigned, such as the breakroom, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
2. Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
3. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Compensation

Pay ranges vary by location and role. For Colorado, Washington, California: $12.56 - $22.95. For New York City (Whitestone): $32.96. Compensation may vary based on experience, role, and location. The company complies with all minimum wage laws.
