Position Purpose and Summary

The Housekeeper position demonstrates a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests. The role involves cleaning guest rooms in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.

Major / Key Job Duties

1. Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to guest and associate satisfaction.
2. Cleans assigned guest rooms adhering to company standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards.
4. Stocks carts and cart rooms as needed or directed.
5. Reports maintenance issues and guest property concerns to management.
6. Assists guests with requests and provides accommodations when possible.
7. Follows all safety and security policies.
8. Completes required training, including Extended Stay University courses.

Other Duties

• Assists with cleaning other hotel areas such as the breakroom, laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
• Maintains overall hotel cleanliness.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
