Job summary

AlignHR is seeking a dedicated housekeeping team member in Wheeling, West Virginia. This in-person role involves maintaining a safe, clean classroom environment and assisting with laundry, restrooms, and general cleaning duties.

Pay ranges from $12.00 to $15.00 per hour for full-time hours. Flexible scheduling is available to accommodate school or center operations.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a cooperative member of a developmental team in maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy learning environment for children that is in compliance with all applicable licensing, health, fire, and safety regulations, as well as all agency policies and procedures.
• Organize storage room and supplies
• Assist classrooms with laundry: sheets, blankets, towels and misc. clothes.
• Clean up after meals in classrooms.
• Vacuum rooms while children and teachers are at mealtime or outside.
• Clean restrooms.
• Take toys to kitchen as needed for washing.
• Maintain all applicable certifications (i.e: Child Abuse Training, and others as assigned)
• Vacuuming
• Dusting
• Mopping
• Assist in minimal kitchen duties during meal times (i.e: Collecting dishes, reporting numbers, etc.)
• Wiping down walls and hand rails as needed
• Perform other cleaning related duties as directed by the Center Director, or the person-in-charge.
