Job summary

Fairfield Inn Portland Maine Airport is seeking a part-time Housekeeper in Scarborough, ME. You will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public spaces, with attention to detail and friendly service.

This role requires standing most of the shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required; English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
• Continuous standing 90% of time.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Pushing up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Hours required: Part Time 20-32-hour shift Morning (AM);Afternoon (PM);Must be flexible;Weekends/ Holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing bed linens, restocking room supplies, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Report and return any guest properties that were left behind.
• Report cases of property damage to supervisor.
• Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift.
• Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order.
• Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate any special guest needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
