We are hiring immediately for part-time HOUSEKEEPER positions at Ascension Borgess Hospital, located at 1521 Gull Road, Kalamazoo, MI 49048. Online applications are accepted only.

Job Summary

Performs light cleaning duties in hospitals, including making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash properly.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as required.
• Realign furniture and amenities as per layout.
• Respond to guest queries and housekeeping issues.
• Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
