Job Description: Housekeeper at Crothall Healthcare

We are hiring immediately for a part-time HOUSEKEEPER position at Cherokee Medical Center, located at 1530 North Limestone Street, Gaffney, SC 29340. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time; days may vary from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, totaling 32 hours per week. Every other weekend is required. Additional details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: No prior experience is required.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs light cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness in establishments such as hospitals, hotels, and restaurants. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, vacuuming, and other related tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash properly.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as needed.
• Realign furniture and amenities according to layout.
• Respond to guest queries and housekeeping requests.
• Assist with spills and broken items promptly.
• Contribute to team efforts and maintain professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
