Job description

We are hiring immediately for a part-time HOUSEKEEPER position.

Location: Cherokee Medical Center - 1530 North Limestone Street, Gaffney, SC 29340. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time; Days may vary, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, 32 hours per week. Every other weekend is required. More details upon interview.

Requirement: No prior experience required.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary: Perform light cleaning duties to maintain establishments such as hospitals, hotels, and restaurants, including making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
2. Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
3. Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
4. Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
5. Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
6. Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
7. Empty and clean trash containers.
8. Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
9. Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
10. Wipe down glass surfaces.
11. Make beds and change linens as required.
12. Realign furniture and amenities according to layout.
13. Respond to guest queries and requests.
14. Address housekeeping issues such as spills and broken glasses.
15. Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.
