• We are hiring immediately for part-time HOUSEKEEPER positions.
• Location: Shelby Baptist Medical Center - 1000 1st Street North, Alabaster, AL 35007. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals, in a clean and orderly manner. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuums carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers and disposes of trash hygienically.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes beds and changes linens as needed.
• Realigns furniture and amenities according to layout.
• Responds to guest queries and housekeeping requests.
• Assists with spills and broken glass cleanup.
• Contributes to team efforts and maintains professionalism.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
